Summer Jobs at San Antonio Missions National Historical Park Available for
                                 Students

San  Antonio  Missions  National  Historical  Park  is  comprised  of  four
18th-Century  Spanish  missions,  two  historic  acequia systems, and a dam
situated  along  a  9-mile  stretch  of the San Antonio River.  The park is
within city limits.  The park also includes a Spanish Colonial Rancho which
is located approximately 25 miles south of San Antonio.

Archeological      Technician,      GS-0102-05     -     $12.31/hour     or
GS-0102-06-$13.72/hour (2 positions)

40 hours per week position at San Antonio Missions National Historical Park
for the Professional Services Division.  Job consists of survey and mapping
assistance  for  placement  of  boundary  markers  and documenting historic
structures and sites.  Also will include computer aided drafting assistance
?  Autocad  and/or  Arcview  experience a plus.  Incumbent will catalog and
analyze   cultural  materials  from  previous  archeological  projects  and
organize  and catalog images in the park's visual media collection.  May be
asked  to participate in limited field surveys and excavation.  Grade level
will be dependent upon educational level and experience.

Will  earn  sick  leave (4 hours every two weeks) and annual leave (4 hours
every  two  weeks). Positions will be for 10 weeks beginning the first week
of June or as soon as positions are filled after that date.
