I guess the best description for oxalic acid would be "a naturally occurring toxin",
found in very low levels in many foods".
It certainly is NOT on the "Generally Recognized As Safe" list.
And while it may be is "easier to use" than Formic, I don't think it would be
easier to "register as a pesticide" than formic.
