I am writing to ask for advice regarding New world carnolian bees. My
primary nectar flow in south Georgia is early and short, ending about May
7th (tulip poplar and gum). Then there is nothing until the golden rod in
late September. I have just requeened my Italian hives with NWC. Have
they done well or poorly for others in warm climates? Do you have any
management suggestions? What problems have you had? How is their
resistance to varroa compared to Russian bees? Thanks!
Bob
