Folks,

A horseshoe nail, from a site dating to the turn of the 20th century, has
the following embossing:

NW [set inside a crown outline]

The embossing is on the side of the head. I have never seen a stamped or
embossed horseshoe nail before. Any references or thoughts?

Best,
