During a lecture on all varroa treatments recently, where I set out the
advantages and disadvantages of the various treatments, my attention was
drawn to the possibility that I left out a major disadvantage of Bayvarol.

The disadvantage claimed was that Bayvarol damages drone fertility. The
speaker said that this comment had been made to him by at least one
American beekeeper in Gormanston either last year or the year before. I had
heard of this possibility before, but I did not have sufficient data on it
to claim it at a lecture.

Any comments please?
