Well, considering the things I've been hearing not only about the "great
white north" but also the rest of the world for the past 3 years, that's not
surprising -
What I keep thinking is, that if we have such a warped perception of present
day reality, what should that tell us about the likelihood of our
interpreted pasts...?

While attending a party in the Queen of England's private suite at the
Vancouver, B.C. SHA Conference, a group of intoxicated Canadian
archaeologists blasted American archaeologists for allegedly being gangsters
armed to the teeth with all sorts of imaginary weapons. It was an eye-opener
to hear that from our neighbors.
