HISTARCH - I just wanted to say sorry to have accidently 'return' replied
to the list with a directed message. However, I would like to take this
opportunity to extend the invitation of my posting to any others who might
have relevant information:

<...I am one of the content organizers for the new (in development) SAA
Public Web pages (http://www.txvr.com/SAA/). Field opportunities will be an
area of this site that the public and archaeology students will be
interested in. So I thought I better ask someone actually advertising a
field school a basic question....My question is obvious and goes towards
[the] attempt to have your information shared as widely as possible. When
you announce your field school, what action did you take to get the word
out?...Your answer will help us to know whether we need to task someone to
surf for field school opportunities for the new web page [and/or have a
posting location at the site] or whether we can just create links to a few
[main] external places.

Please contact me off the list: [log in to unmask]; [log in to unmask]

Thank you for your time.

Sincerely,
Patrice (Patti) Jeppson
