Find a computer geek who has a copy of a high quality disc polisher, or
go buy SkipDr (Skip Doctor) at your friendly Costco or Walmart store for
$25 or so.  Unless the scratch is very deep, long, and perpendicular to
the center hole, a disc polishing will correct your problem. I will be
happy to try polishing one if you mail it to me, if you don't have the
connections or the resources.
