Still out of lurkdom,

Anyone here familiar with the American composer and musicologist Halsey
Stevens (1908-1989) =8B I'm in need of a biography about him (and Yes
I'm aware of his brillant biography about Bartok..) - a friend of mine
is playing his Tuba sonata (on Bass-Trombone) and for this I need a
presentation..
