I have one that I particularly like, even though I am not a huge fan of
the Sonata.

The CD I have is Nojima Plays Liszt: On a Reference Recordings CD. I
seem to remember it getting good reviews and then have heard nothing
about it or Mr.  Nojima. the CD dates from 1987 and is DDD. It was also
recorded analogically (is that a word?) at the same time IIRC.
