When did Galina take up the piano? She is a world class operatic soprano,
but I have never known her to accompany anyone.  She might play, but I
don't know of any instance of her performing as a pianist.  Have I missed
something here? Rostropovich, on the other hand, could have easily had a
career as a concert pianist.  He plays beautifully,
