I think most commercial sales of bone toothbrushes should be found in
catalogs. The shift to bakelite and hard rubber should be fairly clear. But this
reminds me that bamboo toothbrushes were made by the Japanese during World War II
and still sold to Americans visiting Japan during the 1950s.
