 I mark combs with lots of pollen with a thumb tack so I can be sure to be
able to identify them when I organize the hive for winter.   Dan

Dan, I was just wondering why you feel that you have to "organize" the hive
for winter. After so many eons of time, don't the bees know how to do it
themselves?
