There are quite a few single discs devoted to the Beethoven overtures,
but they wouldn't have every one of them: Harnoncourt/Teldec, Levi/Telarc,
Rogner/Berlin Classics, Szell/Sony, Drahos/Naxos, and Harding/Virgin.
Marriner has two 2-cd sets of all the overtures; one is a Philips Duo,
the other a Capriccio 2-cd set.
Personally, I'd opt for the Harnoncourt or Szell. However, I do wonder
about the merit of having a disc of overtures; sounds a little mind-numbing.
