Well, Gilels is purdy darned good...  (And I'm taking *forever* to
respond...sorry).  Have you heard the Gilels? The first piano entrance
after the orchestral intro makes my heart melt every time.

To that end, the very first classical CD I ever bought was Arrau playing
Chopin. Some of the finest playing I ever heard. To this day it's my
favorite.
