I was wondering if anyone could please comment on this month's historical
piano BBC Music Magazine CD of Ravel and Debussy. Is it worth collecting?

They have dumped some real duffers on their readers (a yuk magnificat,
second rate Beethovena and Schubert symphonies, the inevitable choral
Christmas CD every December ...) but occasionally some gems.

Some BBC Music CDs that I enjoyed were:

- Anne Evans singing Wagner at the Proms
- Martinu's Epic of Gilgamesh
- Wiggleworth's Mahler 10
- A BBC NOW/Atherton Shostakovich/Stravinsky Prom CD
- A fine Proms Schostakovich 4
- A Parrott/Taverner consort Dido and Aeneus

All the best,
