Those by CPE Bach in D Minor and by Malcolm Arnold have long been
favourites. John McCabe's, which I acquired only recently (coupled with
his fourth symphony), was a pleasant surprise. The pick of the crop for
me is Nielsen's. And much though I love Mozart, I've never taken to any
of his concertos which feature the flute.
