No, absolutely no one is manipulating honeybee DNA.
First, Danny Weaver's words are taken out of context, and
interpreted to mean something that he did not say, and then
a very clear Purdue program description is misread.
All these people are using DNA to check for genes thought to be
associated with honeybee traits. There is >>> NO <<< manipulation
of honeybee DNA going on, nor has anyone expressed any plans
to do so.
