American orchestras have priced themselves out of the recording market,
basically and thus record only sure-fire sellers, and damn few of them
these days. Thank god Naxos can find SOMEONE to record all the stuff in
their American Classics series. Theodore Kuchar, btw, who is the conductor
of the Ukraine orchestra, is an American.
