After discovering Ellens Gesang #2 on the radio recently, I decided to
survey all of Schubert's songs on Hyperion (Graham Johnson, et al.) I
have went through 27 CD's and there are 10 more to go, and so far there
have been several I find very beautiful.  Interestingly there are phrases
in the songs which appear in works by later composers. CD 15 with Dame
Margaret Price was excellently recorded.
