Welcome, Barrett!

Your youthful enthusiasm is indeed delightful and rejuvenating for us
all.  Let me suggest something a bit challenging, but totally exquisite,
to give you an edge on classical music that you'll never regret: Vivaldi's
"Stabat Mater."

Oh, yes, and you'll want to check out Bach's Partita No.2 (for solo
violin) in d-minor BWV 1004; Nathan Milstein is a good choice for
performance.

The world of classical music is infinitely magnificent.  It's marvelous
that you have discovered it at such a tender age.  This demonstrates
that the world is not falling apart at all.
