Further to my earlier post concerning Richard Hickox's appointment to
Opera Australia, a more recent article says:

   "He will continue his relationship with his overseas orchestras
   - his BBC gig finishes in 2006 - and continue conducting in
   European opera houses such as Covent Garden and the Vienna State
   Opera.  ...

He will move to Australia with his wife, mezzosoprano Pamela Helen Stephen
and their two young children,...spending 4" months here [Australia] in
2005 and 'a minimum of six months a year' from 2006.
