Dear list,

The following was recently posted on H-Urban. Sounds like a good
opportunity for the NYC folks to get some air time if so desired.

Subject: PBS Series Seeks NYC Historic Homes, Artifacts & Industrial Relics

From: Kathleen Hulser <[log in to unmask]>

New PBS series seeks historic homes, artifacts and industrial relics in
New York City -

"History Detectives" is a new ten-hour PBS series about American
history. The stories revolve around historic homes, artifacts and
industrial relics about which there are questions or curiosities. In
the process of answering these questions, with the help of local
historians and often using scientific means, we place the object in its
context and discuss the broader history that surrounds it.

Iwould be grateful for any story suggestions, referrals or
advice. Thank you. Please contact: Ross Tuttle 212-206-8633 x28 or
