Suggestion:
Even if you do not live in the region covered by the CNEHA (Eastern
Canada, New England and the Mid-Atlantic) you should still join the
Council for Northeast Historical Archaeology. The articles in their
journal, NORTHEAST HISTORICAL ARCHAEOLOGY, are almost all general
enough to be of interest to anyone in our field, including those on
the West Coast.
CNEHA has a www. home page. Look it up for membership information.
George's article by the way is great.
