Hi Meta!
I'm real interested in being in the audience, and I'd love to participate
but don't think my Utah stuff is as relevant.  I could talk about the
Northeastern connections, as some potters are from there, but that would be
very qualitative- I've not excavated any potteries run by one of those
craftspeople.

I think it might be interesting to have someone review materials science
studies of pottery- I just read in the CNEHA newsletter about Chris
Espenshade's work with his firm starting to characterize PA potteries.  He's
doing the same kind of work I am in Utah, but I think I'll have better luck
in the long term as I have fewer potters spread out over a larger area!
