At least you admit it is your own humble opinion. But why agitate so much?

I'm very glad Mr. Proffitt shared his playlist with us. Nobody was being
forced to listen to it. Listening is optional.
I also think (but I am not certain) that there must not be empty airtime on
radio. Mr. Proffitt's station is NPR, and people would have been turning
to it during an emergency such as we had on Sept. 11. There probably
would have been even more panic had there been dead air.
I'm wondering what specific music Mr. Willstaedt would consider less
"extremely shallow and self righteous" under similar circumstances once
his official silence has come to an end. How long a silence?
