My copy of the Pearl issue is at home, but is Mme Charles Cahier a
soloist in the Resurrection? The Pearl set has her singing a group of
lieder. Obviously well past her prime. Hired by mahler she may well
have been; perhaps more significantly, she was the alto in the prmere
of Das Lied.
