For years Philip Scowcroft has been producing short articles called
Garlands on British Light Music Composers.  I have just added the latest
batch to MusicWeb http://www.musicweb.uk.net/garlands/index.htm bringing
the total so far to 269 Garlands.  There are still many more to come.  They
take time to produce and Philips writes them all in distinctive longhand
which then have to be transcribed.

The manually compiled composer index list to these Garlands has not been
updated since Garland 133.  As you can imagine this is a laborious process
so will probably be left until the additions are completed.  However the
musicweb search engine will access all these pages within a day or so once
the site spidering has been updated.
