Historic Period Cultural Resources Specialist

 

Pacific Legacy, Inc., a cultural resources consulting firm, is currently
accepting applications for a position in their Cameron Park office near
Sacramento, California.   The position is for a mid-to-senior level
supervisor with expertise in historic period resources.  This will be a
full-time, benefited position responsible for managing projects.  Applicants
must have:

 

*       an M.A. or M.S. in history, archaeology, or other appropriate
CRM-related field;
*       three years full-time experience in CRM;
*       one year full-time supervisory experience;
*       proven writing skills; and
*       expertise in historical research, architectural description, and
historical archaeology as they pertain to California.  

 

Preferred applicants will be competent at using the Harris Matrix system,
have a working knowledge of CEQA and NEPA, and be comfortable guiding
clients through the NHPA Section 106 process.   The position will require an
individual who is a self starter, articulate, organized, and is interested
in working in a team environment.
