The New York Archaeological Council is getting an early start on the poster
for NYS Archaeology
Month which will  be iatn October. This year's poster will focus on the
life and accomplishments of the
late Robert Funk, former State Archaeologist.

In order to do this we will are asking for people to send us images of
Bob that can be used in the poster.   We are especially looking for ones
that show him at work, examining artifacts, "doing archaeology", with kids
or
anything else that is likely to catch the attention of a non-
archaeologist.   We really need to do get the attention of the
average citizen.

We appreciate anything that anyone can send.   While pre-scanned
images would be great, we will take any form including original
photos or negatives, with the promise to return them to you when we
are done.

Please include the date, location and any other relevant description with
