embossed "FEDERAL LAW FORBIDS" dates from 1932 to the present.

Hello all
Does anyone have a date range and citation for the following phrase on
machine-made bottles:
"Federal Law Prohibits the Sale or Re-Use of This Bottle."
If my memory is correct, it should have a date range of 1920s-1960s, or
something like that.
