There has been an interesting discussion of the ethics of re-enactment
in the (British) Museums Journal recently. The latest contribution, by
Jason Finch, is the first from a reenactor, and the first to bring up
the value of re-enacting for reenactors - Jason wrote his MA thesis
(Public Archaeology, Institute of Archaeology, 2000) on this subject.
Best wishes to all,
Pat
(who amazingly, has only got two day's worth of things to do on this,
the last day of the holidays)
