<PRE>Another, annual reenactment takes place every January at the Campo de
Cahuenga in Los Angeles.  This commemorates the signing of the Articles of
Capitulation in 1847, ending hostilities between Mexico and the U.S.  It will
be on Jan. 12 this year, complete with costumed figures, Native Americans,
fiesta, dancing, and cannon fire.
