Tracker Archaeological Services, Inc.
Lord Shipyard Site, Shelter Island, NY. Site of the Lord Shipyard (State
Marker) that built the "Paragon" which succesfully outran Emperor Napolean
Bonaparte's blockade of Liverpool, England in 1803. (Not on State Marker)
Shovel testing for landscape improvements. Interesting site, much buried,
would probably take a lot to figure out.

I dug some holes on this site. I'm not sure but I think you could check with
Philip Lord at the NY State Museum Services or Education Department as they
keep a list of the State Markers info, at least that has been my experience.
Actually a good way to start research if one is in the area. Perhaps we
could use maps of all of them in the public domain.
