Marsha,

A late nineteenth/early twentieth century lime kiln site was tested in
the Upper Peninsula of Michigan in the early 90s.

Branstner, Susan and Sean Dunham
1992 Archaeological Investigations at 20CH170, Lime Kilns Site,
Chippewa County, Michigan. Lake Superior State University, Sault Ste.
Marie, Michigan. Report on file at the Office of the State
Archaeologist, Michigan Historical Center, Lansing, Michigan.

Unfortunately, I do not have a copy of the report - but it is on file
at the OSA.

Cheers,

Sean Dunham
