Andrew,

I can't speak to the fact that your brick may have been produced in
Saskatchewan, it seems more likely that the mark represents the DIXIE FIRE
BRICK CO., KIMBERLY, ALABAMA. (According to Jim Graves, Brick Brands of the
United States, March 7, 2000, and Brick Manufacturers of the United States,
March 8, 2000.) While no mention is made of a companion "Champion" mark, he
lists the Dixie Fire Brick Co. in operation from 1935 to 1958, in Kimberly,
Alabama.

More fuel for the fire.
