The archivist at Radion NZ kindly sent the following info on their Tintner
recordings. There aren't many to be honest. The Lilburn and Wagner
look interesting though. I did not realise that Mr Tintner was the first
conductor of the fine Auckland Philharmonia.
I suspect that some private collector has off air recordings stashed
somewhere. The person who kindly gave me info said it was not a complete
list and he will make further enquiries with Radio NZ.

with conductor, Georg Tintner. Recorded at a public performance
by the NZ Opera Co. at His Majesty's Theatre, Auckland in May
1964. DOCS. NB: The Malcolm Nankivell Collection of tapes were
recorded off radio broadcasts by Malcolm Nankivell, an avid
supporter of the NZ Opera Company. From 1958 until 1964 he was
President of the NZ Opera Company Society and went on to become
a director of the Opera Company. In 1995 this collection was
copied to DAT and cassette at the request of Maxine Rose from
Concert FM. The original tapes are now housed at the Alexander
Turnbull Library. Due to the amateur nature of these recordings,
the quality is often fairly poor, however they are significant
in that many operas as performed by the NZ Opera Company.
