I've tried it both ways, and can't really say that blowing from the bottom
works better. I will say that it tends to push the frames out if you have
the super on its end.
If you've never used a blower for this purpose, you'll certainly need to put
some screen over the intake of the blower. Otherwise the bees will be
sucked in and you'll have a very efficient bee chop-o-matic and spray
chopped bees all over the frames! I'm going to try the tilt method next
time if there's a good nectar flow going on. Otherwise, I'll use good
old-fashioned fume boards.
