I am not certain about this, but I am under the impression that streptomycin
was incorrectly published, due to a 'journalistic' error, in the particular
case that Dee is citing.

I just do not know the answer to this, but I would imagine it is  random
sampling of some sort, simply due to the number of containers involved.
However I think that any sample that shows 'anything' will then get 'the
full treatment'.
