After the earlier discussion about the shortcomings of smoker design,
I was wondering: would there be much interest in a smoker that you
could keep pre-loaded (but unlit) with whatever smokable material
you like, and when needed you could just turn a knob, hit a button,
and fifteen seconds later have smoke?

And, if this is the sort of thing that people would find useful, how
much would you be willing to pay for it?  (same as a conventional smoker,
50% more, twice as much, etc.). Also, if there are any other particular
features that would make it significantly nicer to use than a conventional
smoker, what are they?

I haven't built one yet, but I have some ideas on how to
proceed, and want one myself.  If other people would be interested
in such a thing, it will give me more incentive to get to work on
it.
