i Found that it's possible to hear the placement of each string of
the Thedeen recording of Bach's cello suites on BIS.  While it is a
fasctinating spectacle, I'm not sure whether I really find it good.  Is
it realistic? Hardly.  At least I cannot recall having heard the strings
in different positions when I played with a cellist.
