I vote for:
Tchaikovsky's Pathetique, last movement.
Creston's 3rd Symphony, the crucifixion.
The slow movements from some of Mozart's piano concertos --
the one's in a minor key (where the outer movements are major)
Brahms late piano music, especially op. 118 no. 2 and no. 6
Schubert's 8th, first movement
R. Schumann's 3rd, slow movement
Grieg "Melody", op. 47 no. 3
Many pieces by Chopin, e.g. some of the preludes, and the
funeral march from his 2nd Piano Sonata.
