This text is rather simplistic, and the author doesn't explain why
concerts of orchestral music can be so dull...  From my perspective,
the two main issues at stake are the relative decline in music education
(a fugue can sound boring if you don't even know what it is!) and, more
importantly, the conservative repertoire of most contemporary orchestras.
Play new but stimulating works, and the public (as well as the musicians
of the orchestra themselves) won't find it boring anymore!

Probably not.  But "classical music" (a term I really dislike!) *must*
change...
