This is the answer I get from Mr.Jack Newman
Erica Stapper
Dear Erica,
It would be interesting to know how osteoporosis was diagnosed, but we'll
leave that aside.
However, the mother does not have to stop breastfeeding in order to take
increased amounts of calcium. First of all, milk products are not the only
source of calcium in our diets. I know this is something radical to say in
the Netherlands, Wisconsin and other dairy producing areas, but it's true.
In fact, a very good source is from the bones of small fish, like herring
which you can buy on the streets of Amsterdam. Taking calcium pills is also
a possibility.
Another thing the mother can do is take pancreatic enzymes (in the US or
Canada, pancrease MT 4), 1 capsule at each meal. This breaks down the
protein in her diet, and allows the mother to continue breastfeeding
without eliminating food products from her diet. It works.
