Daniel,

    I atleast offered a picture and explanation of why I think it is not a
vacuum cap. That's all I was trying to get you to do, offer another use for
it instead of discrediting another. The function of a vacuum cap is to keep
vacuum in, and that would not make that kind of seal, and actually, I have
seen just about every type of vacuum cap used in the automotive industry.
