I'm sure there are plenty of CDs you can find out there for $1 in a used
or cutout bin.  Or maybe less at a yard sale, or something like that.
I doubt it's difficult to find that sort of deal; I've certainly seen
bins of CDs in that price range.

Oh, did you care about the contents?  That makes things a little different.
Maybe the contents are actually worth something, and figure into the
economic equation somewhere.
