And the first (western) recording of Shostakovich 4 in the early 1960s
too, also a fine performance.
I also have his recording (presumably the first) of John Sinclair's
reconstruction of the original large orchestra version of Ives's Four
Places in New England (c/w Harris 3).
Going back earlier, he made the first (live) electric recording of
Mahler 2 in the 1930s and his stereo remake (1970ish) which should be
reissued.
