Dear BEE-L subscribers in the West and Northwest,
Please be on the lookout for hives stolen about a month ago. Here
is the description:
*********
250 single story bee colonies were taken off pallets at a winter
stockpile location in the foothills east of Madera, California
(behind a gate at the base of the Hensley Lake dam). The theft
occurred around Christmas time. The bees belong to Wade Anderson
from Chinook, Montana. Most hive bodies were white, some light blue;
mostly with new lids. The hive bodies and some frames were branded
with two letters of the alphabet, a D in reverse and a "lazy" A
(lying on its right side).
If you have any information, contact Wade in madera at (550)
673-5234 or in Montana at (406) 357-2953 or (406) 390-1419.
