I think you want to talk with Eberhard von Hagen
of Germany, author of
"Hummeln"(Naturfuehrer,
publ. 1988 by Neumann-Neudamm, FRG)
the book sells for about US$ 20.- ( p+p not incl.)
He describes, among other things, his bumblebee garden,
containing an ongoing bumble growing setup ( a good
opportunity to brush up on your german..) The
book contains very nice pictures of his bumble
growing outfit
I quote from the book:
Neumannn-Neudamm Verlag Gmbh & Co. KG.,
Muehlenstrasse 9, 3508 Melsungen, FRG
Eberhard von Hagen
Alte Dorfstrasse 14
3406 Bovenden 1/OT Eddigehausen
tel +49 5594-1375
hope this helps!
( I shall also forward these messages to
the bumble bee list)
> "direct the cute men to Indy!"
I will ( if I dont come myself;-)
sincerely, Hugo
