Ouch, I stand corrected -- you are right, most birds can't smell, except
vultures
and a few others. My fingers typed away, brain turned off. I was thinking
that
I could smell the bees in our over-wintering shed, as do the mice, etc.
Woodpeckers have great hearing, obviously couldn't see the bees in the shed
during freezing
weather.
Thanks for the correction - stupid mistake.
